Fan’s Future Stars Nominees
AARON WAN-BISSAKA (Crystal Palace): A cheap price tag and impressive defensive displays this season have made Wan-Bissaka a must have for fantasy Premier League managers. He’s currently competing with Europe’s established defensive superstars for tackles and interceptions despite being only 21.
ALLAN SAINT-MAXIMIN (OGC Nice): Another French winger on the production line of talent that fueled France’s success this summer. Despite making his debut at just 16, Saint-Maximin has struggled to hold down a regular club place throughout his teens. Thanks to continued progression under Nice manager Patrick Viera, Saint-Maximin is again showing signs of why he is so highly rated.
REISS NELSON (TSG Hoffenheim): Another English winger taking the Bundesliga by storm this season. The Arsenal loanee has had blistering start life in Germany, racking up 6 goals in his first 7 appearances in the league. His continued progress could see Nelson establish himself under new manager Unai Emery when his loan expires in the summer.
KRZYSZTOF PIATEK (Genoa): The Polish strikers’ transfer to Genoa this summer might have been overshadowed by bigger names joining Serie A, but 9 goals in 7 games gave Piatek the perfect head start in the race for the golden boot this season. His impressive goal return is starting to turn heads in Italy and even further afield.
BRAHIM DÍAZ (Real Madrid): There’s not many 19 year-olds who can say they’ve played for both Manchester City and Real Madrid, but Brahim Diaz isn’t your every day 19 year old. Struggling for game time at City, Diaz opted to move back to his native Spain with current UEFA Champions League holders, Real Madrid.
